- Credit Office: Record a credit to the office ledger.

Anticipated client money
Section titled “Anticipated client money”Record money you expect to arrive in or leave the client account as anticipated client money. When you deposit or withdraw client money, tick Anticipated, then select Record anticipated. You can choose any date. A deposit or withdrawal dated in the future is always anticipated, so the box is ticked and can’t be unticked.
Anticipated money is shown at the bottom of the ledger as expected money, with its projected balance. It isn’t synced to Xero, and it stays anticipated, even after its date has passed, until you post or remove it:
- Post: opens the deposit or withdrawal with its amount, reference and details filled in. It is dated today, not the anticipated date, so check the date before you confirm. Once it posts, the anticipated entry is removed.
- Remove: deletes the anticipated entry, after you confirm, without posting anything.
Every matter’s anticipated money is listed in the anticipated postings report.
Within a Transaction
Section titled “Within a Transaction”Select a transaction within the ledger for:
- Further information on the transaction.
- A direct link to the transaction in Xero.
- The option to void a transaction, if applicable.
