Creating a form
- Navigate to Settings > Advanced > Forms
- Ensure you are in the Forms tab
To add a new folder
Section titled “To add a new folder”- Select + Add Folder at the bottom of the page
- Provide a Name for the folder
- Save
To add a form to an existing folder
Section titled “To add a form to an existing folder”- Select the desired folder
- Select + Add Form
- Provide a Name for the form
- Link the Form to a Matter Template
- Choose the assigned Fee Earner for the form
- Choose whether to send a form completion email to the Fee Earner on submission of the form
- Choose whether to send a form completion email to any other addresses on submission of the form
- Choose who is able to create matters with this form:
1. **No one:** this form should only be used for updating existing matters. The form won't appear within the [Create Matter](https://help.intouch.cloud/article/a0dsqf8p5y-adding-a-new-matter) page.2. **Only Staff:** only registered [staff members](https://help.intouch.cloud/article/il95zvqnox-ensure-your-new-staff-member-is-set-up-correctly) will be able to use this form.3. **Anyone**: anyone will be able to access and use this form. :::tip Select 'Anyone' if you are creating a website quote calculator or lead form. :::7. Choose who is able to update matters with this form:
1. Only Staff: only logged in staff members will be able to use this form.
2. Only Staff or Registered Matter Stakeholders: only logged in staff members or matter stakeholders will be able to use this form.

Any stakeholders associated with a matter can sign up for an InTouch Portal account. This allows them to complete forms with matter stakeholder restriction applied. Stakeholders will only be able to view their matter within the Portal, if they have been granted permission within the matter template.

3. Anyone: anyone can complete this form under the following conditions.
4. A team member must review this submission: Choose whether on completion of the form, a team member must accept or reject the submitted answers.

This option is compulsory for forms set to be completed by “Anyone”.

5. Seed form with existing matter data: Choose whether to automatically populate the form’s answers with data already saved to the matter. This is only available to users that are logged into InTouch at the time of completing the form.
Form Settings
Section titled “Form Settings”The above settings can be changed at any time:
- Navigate to Settings > Advanced > Forms
- Select the Folder the form belongs to
- Select Options
- Change the settings as required
- Save
