Creating a new contact field
A contact field can be used to save information against a stakeholder’s contact card.
This information can then be automatically recalled within your templates, by making use of it’s data marker.
Creating a New Contact Field
Section titled “Creating a New Contact Field”- Navigate to Settings > Contact Fields
- + Add Field
- Type: choose the type of data that should be saved against the contact field
- Group: choose or create a new group for the contact field to sit within
- Name: Provide a user-friendly name for the contact field
- Data Marker: A unique identifier will be created for you, select ‘Edit’ to amend the data marker provided
- Save
Importing Contact Fields
Section titled “Importing Contact Fields”- Navigate to Settings > Contact Fields
- Export a copy of your current contact fields
- Add the new contact field as a new line item
- Save the file
- Import it back into the Contact Fields page on InTouch
Editing a Contact Field
Section titled “Editing a Contact Field”- Navigate to Settings > Contact Fields
- Select the Custom Field
- Make the required changes
- Save
Deleting a Contact Field
Section titled “Deleting a Contact Field”- Navigate to Settings > Contact Fields
- Select the Custom Field
- Delete
Re-Ordering Contact Fields
Section titled “Re-Ordering Contact Fields”- Navigate to Settings > Contact Fields
- Select Order Fields
- Drag and drop the fields into the desired order
